1. WHAT'S NEW at www.socialisthistory.ca ---

** The "Remembering" section is now open, starting with tributes to
eleven comrades: Kate Alderdice, Andre Bekerman, Reg Bullock, Fred
Callahan, Ross Dowson, Joe Flexer, Jerry Houle, Arnie Mintz, Joan
Newbigging, Bret Smiley, and Bill White. Watch for more in coming
months.

** "Socialist Newspapers in Canada, 1898-1978" is a quick outline of
the history of Canadian socialist journalism from "Citizen and
Country" to "Socialist Voice."

2. MIRROR ? The Marxists Internet Archive (www.marxists.org) has
requested (and been eagerly granted) permission to "mirror" the
Documents section of the Socialist History Project. This means that
the documents will be available from other servers AND will be seen
by people worldwide who use that valuable resource.

3. PUBLICATIONS WANTED: I've had very good responses to my request
for Canadian socialist periodicals, but there are still substantial
gaps, and there are individual issues missing even in the most
complete files.

Right now, I'm particularly looking for 1970-72 issues of LABOR
CHALLENGE, and 1955-63 issues of WORKERS VANGUARD.

and would be willing to donate or loan them, please email me at
