RE: [Marxism] SWP and Hired Petitioners
In places, the Socialist Labor Party hired petitioners during the 1970s.
The average age of the party had not yet begun to come down, and I don't
think they had many options about it.
Then, too, what used to happen in the SWP is that branches exhausted
their memberships getting on the ballot to the extent that campaigns
themselves were very limited, to say the least.
