[Marxism] Thoughts on Ronald Reagan

Greg, obviously in terms of "left" politics, Nader has shot himself in
the foot, or at least a toe. I have no problem with a left personality
being interviewed by Pat Buchanan. But he made statements in there, on
immigration, on Iraq, etc that clearly are appealing to the right and
those around Buchanan, et al. And this is how Nader feels, he never
speaks to his audiance, he gets his own ideas out. Some of them are
just crap. On the other hand he maintained leftist positions without
buckling under on all other social issues.

My biggest problem is that he completely avoids the need to for a new
party, a new organization of American progressivism, or even a movement
toward it.
