Re: [Marxism] Modern Revisionism - a Call for engagement
Over the course of the past couple years writing to this listserver, I have
become aware of various subscribers who trace their political origin to what
was called "The New Communist Movement."
Max Elbaum's "Revolution In the Air" gives a concise overview of this period.
With all due respect to the Moderator, I long ago - 30 years out, lost
patience attempting political, economic and social dialogue with those of the
Trotskyite political tradition. If the truth be told I never had patience with
them.
I am seeking to write and present some general overviews of the struggle
against "modern revisionism" - which the Trotskyite political tradition call
Maoism, and dialogue on the specific political and ideological projection of
Nikita
Khrushchev all the way up to the theory of "developed socialism."
The intent is to "close" a period of history.
