[Marxism] Fidel vs. Che

Chris:

"The reviewer jumps on the bandwagon of Castro bashing:
"Castro's uneasy relationship with the more charismatic, and
harder-working Guevara has never been fully explained. It is thought
that when he went to Bolivia, the leader was glad to see the back of
him.

"It is thought?" Fudgy"

Fudgy is the word. The whole approach is fudgy. And cowardly.

This is a usual trend within the counter-revolutionary camp. You
can't throw shit on the Great One, then take the side of the Faithful
and Greater One who the Great One mistrusted.

In Argentina, you can witness this tendency with the "Evitist"
phenomenon. The -false- idea that Evita was to the Left of Perón
demonstrates the desire to bash Perón, not to worship (this is the
_actual_ word) Eva. Same with Fidel and *the* Che [you of all men
should not have fallen in this mistake again, Chris!]. Parts of the
Trotskyist movement can also be traced back not to opposition to
Stalin but to opposition to Lenin.

People who, if in Cuba, would certainly oppose Fidel today, raise the
effigy of the impolute Ernesto Guevara Lynch to show their support to
a Revolution such as they dream it is.

Not a matter of chance that in our Universities, the most
opportunistic of these formations, Patria Libre, raises the images of
_both_ Eva and Guevara in their posters, while Fidel and Perón are
nowhere to be seen. And not only Patria Libre: "Peronist"
formations in the University don't expose a face of the undisputed
Leader of the movement, and prefer to find shelter under the smiling
face of Eva Perón.
