The Bolivian campaign was not necessarily a stupid mistake. It was full of
stupid mistakes, not all of which may be placed at Che's or the ELN's feet-
much of the responsibility lies with the CP and other groups in Bolivia, and
the Soviets. If it may, however, be viewed as a mistake in the final analysis
(as I think it probably was), it was not a "stupid" one, but a most unfortunate
one.
More could be said, but I won't. I await the movie with some interest- but I'm
more looking forward to the biopic.
