 There's a simpler solution: don't use hotmail!

 The e-mail system I use is called Pegasus Mail. It's allows me to
save as many e-mails as I want and I'm been saving my messages
since 1998 so I'm in the area now of  50 000 messages saved in
my  folder. And get this: It's Free!

No charge for saying the messages, apart from the spaces I
imagine it's takes up on my computer.

Pegasus doesn't spy on your either and I get no adds related to it
specifically. Whatever adds I get is from stuff I've signed up from on
the net but generally it's pretty minimal (I'm sure there's a filter too,
just haven't noticed it...mind you, I haven't been looking either).
