Doug Ireland did a piece on this for The Nation a few months ago, but the
fact that the Newman-Fulani crowd supports him doesn't mean they own or control
him.It's an opportunist alliance, as are most. Similarly, the stuff Wayne
Barrett did in Village Voice on Sharpton's financing and advice from Republican
operative Roger Stone, who helped steal Flroida for Bush. All this begs the
question: Is there anything any of these candidates says that will help move 
people
to the left,or will atleast disrupt the juggernaut of imperial war and
repression enough for us and victims elsewhere to catch a breath?
