Would you both agree that Lou's metaphor of the good cop and bad cop applies
not merely to "Left Zionists" but to all those liberals in the US who are
strongly pushing for Kerry to get elected? Isn't Kerry just Bush's left
hand? It's obvious to me.
I remember in 1964 a lot of American liberals (myself included!) who voted
for Lyndon Baines Johnson on the idea that Sen. Barry Goldwater was
"hawkish" regarding the war in Vietnam. As soon as he was elected LBJ
escalated the war. The main difference between him and Kerry in this regard
is that Kerry is telling the American people he is going to escalate the war
BEFORE he gets elected.
