I could extend a similar response, one that coincides with yours, that
would take to task such arguments, no, not reasoned, evidentiary
"arguments" but unfounded *opinions* about the Shoah, but I would
include synonyms for provocative, insensitive, misled, confounding,
questionable, illogical, incorrect, wrong, benighted, odd, unpersuasive,
inhuman, schizophrenic, socially solipsistic, and so on.
But there definitely were some Zionists in history, as we now know, who
felt that the Nazis just had it wrong about Jews, and that was their
only glitch, and believed that they could reach an accomodation with the
Hitlerites. The majority certainly weren't so blinded by such extremist
fascist ideology, but some were. The horrifying outcome is that those
despicable few were the antecedents to current ruling party in Israel.
Their mad goal seems to be to drive developments past the brink of no
return, for anyone.
