Re: [Marxism] Comic Marxism

1). If commodity production makes no distinction between needs springing from
bodily appetites (Magen) and social imagination (Phantasie), it is because
their undialectical separation is a metaphysical illusion, a residue of the
Christian opposition between body and mind
2). Marx said that 'the criticism of religion is the perquisite of all
criticism' ['A Contribution To The Critique Of Hegel's Philosophy Of Right.
Introduction', 1844,
Deutsch-Französische Jahrbücher, translated Rodney Livingstone and Gregor
Benton, Early Writings, London: Penguin, 1975, p. 243].
There is no point in developing 'marxist' theories of culture if this
fundamental position on the Christian denigration of the body is ignored.
3). In order to develop the 'spiritual sphere' as a social and political
power,
with its churches and monasteries and land, Christianity adopted the
platonic argument that truth is eternal and abstract, while the actual
things of the world are temporary and imperfect.
Comment
I'm loving it.
Bourgeois production - reproduces, by definition, that which was in existence
and provided the material wherewithal for its emergence. Foodstuff is the
basis of reproduction and this observation was hidden during the period of
formulation of the general law that govern social revolution and why society
passes
from one mode of production to another.
To reclaim history one must destroy history as it has existed in the mind of
men.
The breach between knowing and doing has to be approached from a militant
materialist proposition. The genesis of the breach is biology even if we have
not
mastered the science of botany and metabolism. Exchange and ideological
forums/forms as institutional knowledge arise later.
Marx also stated that it is the task of the proletariat to destroy
philosophy. "The proletariat" includes its representatives who must come from
all
sections of society and constitute themselves as the proletariats "think
tanks."
We do need to figure out how to state all of this in the framework of how
people think things out, while not abandoning theoretical formulations.
The emergence of anti-science - which is science, in Europe, which set the
basis for this phase of history cannot be located in the mind and hearts of
European men or I am forced into a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Black
bourgeois Intellectual elite and the black fascists.
The "European" conception of gunpowder and arms - guns, which were invented
elsewhere cannot be located in the philosophy of man as European. Rather man as
European is a description of experience and not the philosophy of the
experience. What drove the man of Europe outside his borders on the basis of
first -
first!, subduing "Europe?"
It is not enough top point to the role of steel and sword making on this
basis.
In this regard Engels notes called "The Role Labor Played In the Transition
from Ape to Man" needs to be updated on the basis of an authentic science of
biology and botany.
In the last instance, value springs from the body of man and not inanimate
objects that reproduces bodily relations in all there ramifications.
We have entered the "Undiscovered Country."
We shall chart the territory as we proceed step by and step, while knowing we
are historically wrong.
Millions will perish from our ignorance.
