Brillant data.

I have gotten several personal correspondence on the question of food and
addiction. What do we actually eat in the imperial centers? What do we eat in
America? Is there a way to determine the energy imput used to produce all the
wrong foods we consume?

In the back of my mind is the question of entropy and thermodynamics but I
cannot formulate the question properly.

Several years ago while still working in the plant and a Union rep I wrote a
small pamphlet called "Demon Philosophy and Consumption" that had statistics
from the World Health Organization on consumption. I sensed that this was
important but did not grasp "how important" until now. I sold off most of my
books
and left virtually everything in Detroit and will call the wife to locate a
copy of this pamphlet in the basement.

My point is that you have the ability to present an objective picture of what
we are talking about on the basis of data.

It dawned on me that the reason very few women contribute to Marxmanil is
because we do not talk about things they are interested in. The occasional
article on abortion rights appear, but apparently women have solved this
question
for themselves and could give less than a damn about what we as "Marxists/men"
think.

Everyone is interested in personal health and the health of the planet. The
Marxists (especially in the imperial centers) need to place ourselves at the
front of this social forum by recruiting the vanguard and introducing them to
the method of Marx and facts - not Leninism, Trotskyism or Stalinism.

Addiction and food is real big.

Hey . . . you got skills and capacity. We need a framework that is the
revolutionary presentation of the question.

I wrote about the substance of the food question and consumption several
years ago but it is far to mystical and wrapped in very ancient spiritual texts
because my approach had not been clarified. I sent five books - literally to
comrades that thought I had lost my mind, which probably have some truth to it.

Every week on Marxmail something major needs to appear about food, health and
consumption. The environmentalists miss the point. The root of man is man
himself, in his biology - not means of production.

OK, I formulated the above wrong but Help.

Peace
