Fidel's held out against US imperialism for longer than Gerry or Martin
have been politically active - and I don't see him offering a truce whereby
he will administer US rule in Cuba.

I don't want to sound politically sectarian, but I have little tolerance
for talk of "the long struggle" from people who blindly follow a leadership
which has given up most of the struggle. SF has some good activists within
it, but the personality cult surrounding Gerry Adams will see to it that
those activists toe the party line or else.
