Well, losing my job to outsourcing has certainly transformed my life, but I
wouldn't exactly describe it as 'uplifting'. I still haven't found a new
job after nearly thirteen months. My unemployment benefits ran out a month
ago. But, hey, it's nice to know that Friedman finds it all so 'uplifiting'.
