[Marxism] Has anyone here seen the film "The Agronomist"?
And if so, what is your assessment of its political content? I ask because I
am involved in oranizing a local Haiti solidarity event later this month and
just heard that a film screening is being promoted a week or so before our
event. Jacqueline Charles at the Miami Herald sees the film as a human rights
indictment of Aristide and the Lavalas party. Haiti-Progres (a better
newspaper) seems to quote the protagonist Jean Dominique favorably. I have a
hard time evaluating this because I am just beginning to learn about Haiti.
