Thanks for pointing that out. I was a bit surprised when I read it in the
poem I posted by Amiri Baraka, it didn't sound correct, but you cannot very
well go and edit somebody else's poetry in this situation. I was just
horrified when I read about the details of that suicide bombing by Rim Salah
a-Rishi, and was thinking about it most of that day. According to a press
report, Hamas claimed it was a retribution for the attempted assassination
of a militant leader of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in the northern West
Bank. For the sake of clarity, I'm convinced that Zionism is bad, but I'm
not anti-Jewish. I've had my experiences with racism, and it's always
terrible, perhaps the most terrible thing is that it forecloses any reasoned
dialogue about anything.
