[Marxism] Demoblicans or Republic Rats?

Lou Pr. stated:

"The Democratic Party is suited for piecemeal reforms on the local
level, while participating in crimes against humanity on the global
level."

That is, the Dems are the _actual_ imperialists in the sense of Cecil
Rhodes ("Imperialism is a matter of stomach. If we don't turn
imperialists, we shall have to face civil war at home").

Last of all people in this world to meddle into the intense divisions
that the next elections will bring to the American radical Left.

But I believe this: both Reps and Dems will follow more or less the
same policies abroad. You will not vote US out of Iraq by voting
Clark.

What I would rather try to do is to think of the best way in which
the popular forces can obtain a better position, for future battles,
within the belly of the Beast. In the end, the question is whether
the relatively more popular basis of the Dems will force them to lead
a bourgeois retreat from the entrenched positions they have acquired
under the Reps. And if so, whether this can be useful for the
movement or not.

Anyway, we shall fight against either Dems or Reps. But I would like
to know what would be Fidel's ideas on this.
