Actually it is not banned (yet). There is a public campaign going on,
collecting signatures, putting up stands at public places and so on.


To sum up, here's my very short answer to the original poster:

One can't fight the reactionary idea that the state or any other body
could enforce dress codes on women for political or religious reasons by
imposing a dress code on women for political or religious reasons.

One can only defend any woman's right to chose herself.
