To fight reactionary political Islam you have to support the right of
the capitalist state to repress the democratic right of all Moslems?
Is the capitalist state a lesser evil than the Islamists, even if
some non-fundamentalist Moslems become "collateral damage"? Better
support the next imperialist war against an Islamic country then, the
only way to save "progressive humanity" from terrorism.

The UK Weekly Worker has a very good article against this
anti-democratic rubbish:

"Only the secularism of fools aims to suppress the right of religious
or political expression. On the contrary, the genuine secularism
championed by consistent democrats and communists aims to protect
citizens from the power of the state to force religion upon them. It
aims to empower them, not curtail their right to practise (or not
practise) whatever religion they choose".
