[Marxism] Re: Curb Your Enthusiasm
hey
great to read someone comparing mike leigh with curb....also rob reiner's
tap could be said to fall into the same bracket of semi improvised comedy
i'm addicted to larry....the last decade i was obsessed with seinfeld....i
didnt even bother with the english language ...strictly senfeld quotes
between friends......but curb...i couldnt believe it....my favorite comedy
writer using the style of my favorite uk director....what a combo! (gay
jew in nazi germany)
i run a small, independent record label called 'xxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxx'
out of manchester UK........
we are currently working on an audio collage which uses many mike leigh
lines (from films such as who's who/home sweet home/kiss of
death/meantime)....curb and seinfeld samples...and about 300 different
sources over 74 mins......maybe you'd be interested in hearing it?....if
so send me your mailing address and i'll send one over as soon as its mixed
cheers
bob
