Refugees on Nauru: Let them in!
Nearly 300 people, mostly from Afghanistan, are being held on Nauru
under the federal Coalition government's "Pacific solution" to "illegal"
asylum seekers. Forty asylum seekers began a hunger strike on December
10 to demand that all detained asylum seekers' cases be reviewed.
Socialists and refugees' rights activists are demanding that the
simplest solution to this refugee "crisis" is to let them into Australia.
