After water, next comes the commodification of breathable air in densely
packed and polluted urban centers.  Will it take that extent, i.e., only
air to those who can afford it, before we realize that capitalism will
reduce even existence to a mere commodity, the right to which will exist
only as purchased?  To a certain degree that is already true.  The trend
is toward absolutes, and we are frogs in a warming pot set to boil.
