[Marxism] Blame Canada, wherever it is.
Tonight (Sat., 27 Dec. 2003) CBS News aired a report on the Mad Cow
Disease outbreak in the western United States. The US Government told
viewers that the particular mad beast in question came from Canada. CBS
News then showed a map of western North America that showed the route
this cow took on its way from the Canadian Province of Alberta to the
American State of Washington. But there was a hitch: the dot that was
supposed to be a location in Alberta appeared on the map in the Canadian
Province of Saskatchewan (the rectilinear Prairie province east of
Alberta) with an arrow that connected to a dot in Washington State.
Obviously CBS News doesn?t know where the heck that sick cow came from.
I cannot believe this top US news network flunks such simple, grade
school geography. Sad.
The story is still up, and apparently there?s a video of the report, at
this URL (maybe the map?s still up in all its idiotic glory if you get
to give it a look):
