[Marxism] "I get happy thinking about communism" the nature of work
I enjoy work, as do most people.
I don't mean forced labor, slavery, etc.
I like reading, painting, walking, talking, building good, quality stuff
that appeals to the eye. I love teaching. I can expend effort to my
benefit and I include my social and physical environment as the
extention of the self. I enjoy the social interaction of being on the
job with others, when we are not panicked, when we collaborate on decent
projects--in fact, I often enjoy the social interaction at work more
than the work of social interaction after hours...
I guess you could say, punnily, that I believe in Good Works over Faith
Alone.
But I don't want to side-track this issue:
What I resent is the regimentation of work by others who decide what I
must work on, who fire workmates, or me, for no real reason, decide to
make us use inferior materials with lousy tools in crappy conditions,
and appropriate our labor for their private, selfish use while ignoring
those in need. I hate that.
