[Marxism] Re.: Mad cow

SO totally cool that Washington Post report on the Mad Cow case was
written by a person with a Hindu name: Shankar Vedantam .

To conclude a horrific story of criminal neglect of workers rights and
lives, the report WHEN WORKERS DIE named the official who ultimately
makes the government look good: Gale Filter.

And the president of the Audubon Society is John Flicker. (For those
who live outside North America, the Audubon Society is dedicated to the
protection of birds, and the flicker is a common member of the
woodpecker family of birds.)

As I am sure you have noticed, God is into puns and names. I realized
this in the early Eighties--the 1980s, not the streets-- while reading
the Science Times and noticing how many specialists were associated with
their names, e.g., an ichthyologist named Dr. Fisher, an stellar
physicist called Starr, etc. I wondered what came first? He even put
it in His Wholly Prescriptions: ?By their names ye shall know them.?
Dude! SO, be prepared comrades, as ye enter the Workers? Paradice in
the Afterlife beyond the sky, for your Final Judgment, and Lo! there is
G*d! Just as we pictured Him: big beard, looking not at all like
Michelangelo had him on the ceiling (Michelangelo had him on the
ceiling? Ooo!) but more like Karl Marx, with a jolly touch of Santa
Clause, the cherubs and angels lounging around, hanging out like homeys
in the hood. And instead of the expected countenance of towering
severity, Wholly Spirit is bent in howling laughter. He wipes away a
tear above his smile-plumped cheek, and bursts out with a guffaw:
?Didn?t you get it?! I gave you SO many hints!?

Maybe I shouldn't have had that burger...
whatever
