The KPC is neither structured like the KLA nor
has the political philosophy or goals of the old
KLA. It was a way for the UN to break up the KLA.

Those allowed into the KPC were screened to
exclude working class militants and
revolutionaries and anyone else who might oppose
UN control.

At the same time the UN took over contro of the
Kosova Press which was the news operation of the
KLA and transformed it from a defender of the
mass of Kosovars into a UN mouthpiece.

You really ought to compare before and after news
reports.

Also the UN stopped English and German
translations of the news articles shortly after
they took over.

The UN also shut down critical newpapers of
independent workers groups about the same time.

What you have in Kosovo/a now is a UN
dictatorship.

The old Provisional Government to whom the old
KLA was politically responsible to was disolved.

So whatever the KPC is today bears little
resemblance to what the KLA was before the UN
moved in.

Concerning the Washington post article.  Why
should you or anyone trust anonomous NATO
informers?

Anyone involved with defending poor people knows
how informers often make up stories to fit what
their emploers want.

We just had a local case where an innocent man
was fingered as the driver of the getaway car in
a killing because the informer said thats who the
police told him to name.

In any case serious scholars of which you claim
to be one know at best anonomous information only
may provided clues to reality that need to be
further investigated and corroborated.

So far you show me that you know and understand
little of what has happened and what is still
going on in Kosovo/a.
