[Marxism] Robert Heinlein: rightwing nutjob
Well, combining the themes of the us SWP and sci-fi, I highly recommend
Eric Flint, author of "1632" and "1633" (yes, about the 30 years war in
Germany). Eric, a former member of the Revolutionary Marxist Committee
who joined the SWP in 1976 or so, left it about 10 years ago.
His novel's combine his experience in the UMWA in West Virginia and the
cosmic transportation of a UMWA run town in WVa to the middle of
Germany in during the dates mentioned above. Quite fun...and it's
everything you ever wanted to know about the 30 Year War but was afraid
to ask. His book, both of them, as sci-fi Best Sellers.
