I think Bush is more of a figurehead, Gary, like Reagan was.
Please don't go away thinking that I believe W is a genius, tho.
His appeal with the electorate is in part his average intelligence.
Unfortunately, the electorate has been led to believe he is average in
everything and just like them and shares their interests.
