was telling the story to some buddies, sergeant walks over and says,
"Damn boy, think how lucky you are that we hauled your skinny pink ass
outta there.  If it weren't for this f**ked-up war, you couldve been
killed."

Had to think about that for awhile.  Still think about.  Scary thing
is-- it makes sense.
