David Schanoes wonders where the discussion of Mahathir came from.

Well, a debate on precisely this issue began on the Rad-Green list
with a contributor insisting on the importance of condemning Mahathir.
Probably I should have considered including the original item, which
set me off.  Still I thought some of the ideas were worth presenting.

Off course the thing has been all over the media, which David,
dwelling on a plane where only relationships of production in their
purest form normally make themselves apparent, may have missed.
