Spending our time in North America debating the proper tactics being
employed by a deeply oppressed people does not "send the message" that
we understand their need for self-determination much better than the
Zionists. It does, however send the message that we like to play the
very same game of side-stepping the context of the continued Zionist
asaults on Palestine and human decency in general;

The state that will emerge after Zionism is defeated doesn't at all need
to allow the Jewish Settlers to remain in place, either. That's not
self-determination, that's a negotiation between two sides: one not
legitimate the other legitimate.

Again, without the tear jerking, I've still not heard a sufficient
reason to discourage lumping all the settlers in one boat, and would
like to know why you think land stolen in 1948 is somehow more
legitimately stolen.

I can see this discussion taking place in North America about lecturing
the Partisans across Eastern Occupied Europe "Sure they are German
Settlers, but we can't shoot them... it would send the wrong message
about being able to live side by side with Germany after the war..."

And some leftists would undoubtedly oppose even the Warsaw Ghetto
uprising on the same premise.
