Re: terror (Was: to the list...)
Yoshie writes:
Those who organized attacks on Palestinians won't be expelled or
imprisoned, unless Palestinians, Jews, and others somehow manage to
come together, abolish the capitalist relations of production, and
establish a free society on a new foundation -- that's not on the
practical agenda of any Palestinian faction.
If and when Palestinians and solidarity activists manage to establish
a secular democratic state with equal rights for all in historic
Palestine....
_______________
Does anyone think any of this is possible without the rrevolutonary
overthrow of the regimes in Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia? Well,
none of it is.... Does anyone think any of this is possible with the
current organizations and programs of those organizations of the
Palestinian struggle? Well, it isn't.
Very little is said in this discussion about the actual requirements to
reach the goals of Palestinian revolution. The discussion ends where it
begins-- "codes of conduct" vs. "we can't dictacte tactics...." What's
the difference between the two, in practicality? It begins to sound a
little like a "do be" "don't be" exercise.
Of course we can't dictate, but we can analyze, assess, and yes
determine whether the social content of a program, the viability of the
strategy, and the effectiveness of tactics. None of which has anything
to do with codes of conduct, rules of war, etc.
