The biggest and most notable difference between Zionism in Palestine
and Apartheid in South Africa is fundamental difference of labor in
each country. I've always maintained that in SA, "Apartheid", meaning
"separateness" was phony. Apartheid depended 100% on Black labor, in
every industry but energy.

Zionism, on the other hand, would like nothing more than to get rid of
it's Arab population. Despite what appears to be reliance on Arab
labor, the reality is that the Zionists are forced to do this by
circumstance, not by choice. All Zionists hold Barochov's "Redemption
of Labor" perceptive of building a Jewish working class (and petty
bourgeoisie and bourgeoisie)at the expense of Christian and Muslim
Arabs, even if they've denuded it of any reference to social-democracy.

The increase in Filipino and Vietnamese *guest worker* populations, not
to mention the influx of Russian Jews (err, Jewish Russians to be more
accurate) by a million or so has made Palestinian labor less important
in the scheme of things. This is a planned effort to ethnically cleanse
the Israeli working class (Jews and Arabs) of it's large Arab
component. They don't want them and they are doing everything they can
to "de-Arabize" their economy. Zionism is the *true* Apartheid, not SA.
