Is this true? I was under the impression that a great deal of labor in
Israel was being performed by Palestinian "guest workers." I know that
Israel has been trying to replace them with a different source (e.g.,
immigrants from Eastern Europe) but I didn't think the process had advanced
to the point where Israel "doesn't need" Palestinian  labor. After all, just
a few days ago the press carried a story about 600 new homes being built in
West Bank settlements, with the labor being done by Palestinian workers.
