Just a couple of points, after thanking JH for the detailed and valuable
information:

1. The UN FAO figures are NOT calculated on the basis of monetary values,
but physical mass-- millions of tons, not dollars/pesos. The growth is the
difference between output in 1989 and 1994 or 1995 and 2000.

2. Let's not lose sight of the original issue-- trade barriers and what the
real meaning of "free trade."
