This is not the Yoshie I've known for several years on the internet. You
didn't put an asterix beside your support for Yugoslavia *=unless ethnic
cleansing can be substantiated
I also like to think that many of us, even in the awful situation where
had Saddam really been stockpiling WMD and dumped them on Tel Aviv, in
that situation we'd blame the attack on A) American imperialist assaults
on Iraq; B) the occupation of Palestine, and C) we would not then
retroactively change our stance on sovereignty and their right to bear
weapons of any sort, irregardless of what we think of their government
or motives.
If we belive in rights, they don't come chopped up and ready to pick and
choose from.
What makes (in the case you still defend the former sovereignty of the
former Iraqi regime) for the rights of a state like Iraq or north Korea
stand on a higher plane from that of a non-state national liberation
movement? WE haven't gotten into the business of handing more and larger
rights to states that resistors, have we?
