ZIONIST AGGRESSION WILL FORTIFY OUR PEOPLE'S RESISTANCE



Israel has perpetrated another criminal piracy when the Zionist military
airplanes bombarded an inhabited area near the outskirts of Damascus.



This represents a critical escalation of the already tense situation in the
region, due to the repeated Israeli aggression supported by the American
imperialism against our peoples, with the aim of demolishing the
independence of the patriotic regimes and imposing a full imperialist and
zionist dominance.



By expanding the arena of its aggression, Israel aims to overcome the
critical difficulties it is facing due to the brave resistance of the
Palestinian people who is writing heroic verses in defending his own
existence and struggling for his national rights including, above all, the
end of the unjust occupation and the establishment of the fully sovereign
Palestinian state, away from the imperialist / zionist influence and
hegemony.



Committing such aggressive actions against Syria, zionist Israel is playing
a dangerous game; the proud Syrians know very well how to protect their
pride, independence and freedom. They have never bowed to aggressors and
will never bow. They are always ready to sacrifice the most valuable things
including their souls to defend the freedom of their homeland.



The current situations increases the importance of a flinty national unity,
which will be the very fortress against which the aggressors' wave will
crash down.



It is very obvious that zionist Israel would not be able to perpetrate its
aggressive actions against the Arab peoples, without the continuous
integrated support by the American imperialism.



We call free people all around the world to denounce the Israeli aggression,
and all the democratic, liberal and peace forces are invited to condemn this
aggression which not only threatens the neighbouring peoples in the region
but can also lead, if not controlled, to detrimental results that will have
destructive effects on the whole international stage.



We also call for expanding the campaign in the Arabic countries to boycott
the American goods and interests. The Arabic regimes that have normal
relations with Israel are invited, at least, to immediately break off theses
relations.



The Syrian Communist Party is fully confident that the courageous Syrian
people, armed with his heroism and steadfastness which are deep-rooted in
his traditions, will crush all the enemy's conspiracies ..and mistaken will
be everyone thinking that Syria may be subjugated.



Glory for the heroic Palestinian resistance !



Glory to the brave Iraqi resistance !



Long live Syria, proud and well-fortified against the aggression !
