"The Revolution Will Not Be Televised"
there was some discussion recently about the documentary
"The Revolution Will Not Be Televised"
as if it had just been released.
Here's a note I sent to the list early last June:
Subject: Re: Ven TV mogul outraged by demand for taxes

I heartily recommend the video
"The Revolution Will Not Be Televised"
as an antidote to those reactionary charges that Chavez restricts free
speech.
To the contrary.
See how capitalist monopoly television is used as a propaganda tool by
the comprador elite of Venezuela to broadcast lies and foment subversion
of the constitutional order of the Chavez government. And they complain
about being taxed? What blatant audacity. Try dissing the IRS in the
USA and telling THEM you're not going to pay your taxes and see what
happens...
Actually, IMHO, this documentary is the best film of the year.
Vital. Gripping. Dramatic. Cathartic. See it.
