Further information on WMDs
Charles Jenks, President of the Core Group at Traprock Peace Center, has
announced that Glen Rangwala of Cambridge University has updated his
document "Claims and Evaluations of Iraq's Proscribed Weapons." The URL
appears below.
http://traprockpeace.org/iraqweaponsd.html
The document breaks down its investigation into four parts: information
about nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons and weapons systems. For its
length, it is remarkably easy to read. Each section provides first all the
information about the claims made regarding each of these types of weapons,
then, in a boxed commentary, the claims are evaluated against existing
information about them. What is new is that each of the four sections has,
whenever relevant, information that has been published since the end of the
war. Thus pretty much all of the authoritative writing and research on
claims of WMDs postwar appears in one place. Look for boldfaced sections
entitled *Key post-war readings* for the postwar information. It is
interesting reading.
