US News & World Report frames Ven.
Where did wrote that critique of Robinson's article/propaganda first
appear?
Aside: You may have seen my warning about this very tactic coming down
the pike (i.e., conflating Chavez with terrorism). But we've all known
ever since 9-11 that the US capitalists would increase repression both
domestically and abroad in the empire with the justification of fighting
terrorism --and that terrorism for capitalists is anything that
threatens the profits of capital. (The darlings really are terrified if
it looks like they might lose profit, but they just can't get their
minds around the possibility that others might feel terrified by *them*,
especially when loved ones are tortured, families get wiped out, etc.,
etc.)
