RE: SWP says 'don't vote' on Prop 54 in California
I think rational people tend to look for rational motives. We tend to
see consistency as a shorthand indication that there is some underlying
rationality behind positions.
Institutions almost never act rationally. They act from self-interest
and self-justification. The SWP just plain doesn't like to deal with
former party members on any level.
