Re: marxism-digest V1 #6394
if someone thinks i erred badly in forwarding the post, take it up with my
boss, Lou Proyect. I will try to be a little more discriminating on long
posts in the future. perhaps if i had more time, i could have encouraged
J. to take up some of the more interesting issues before it was forwarded.

If I could spend the time reading every last post on this list and the ones
I run, I'd have nothing else going on in my life-- I suspect that I'm in a
strong majority when I say that I can barely read 25% of the posts. I, like
most people I presume, pick threads of interest and read them, follow them
through, etc. However, it seems fairly simple to me:
If you don't like the subject matter of a post, don't read it. Only when
people are trying to fight should anyone care about "shutting them up". If
you don't want to read about a vacation, don't read about a vacation.
End of problem.
