Re:color me gone
comrade Nestor responds to my posting and proves my point--
Nestor maintains that I distorted his words. He states he didn't blame the
Western European left for the failure of revolution in the advanced
counties, but the working classes themselves.
And that is supposed to be a clarification? A matter of historical
accuracy?
Indeed, comrade Nestor has blamed the left in general, the left in the US
and the advanced countries in particular so many times for so many things
that I tend to read both left and working class everytime he blames either.
But the substance of the matter-- the "price of progress," comrade Nestor
leaves untouched. Unfortunately, not to my surprise. And that's the point,
the price of this or that progress can always be justified by someone
somewhere as long as others elsewhere are doing the paying.
