Re: Not fade away
Are you trying to play a Stalinist interrogator now trying to extract a
confession ? I just published one. Look matey, because I respect facts and
historical truth, of course I realise that that Russian had both decimation
and bureaucratic rule, and if you are still hung up on that, and then try to
tell me I should put it behind me, then you are like Melvin P. who tells me
off about talking about sex and then starts talking about prostitution. I
don't have the patience for that, I am sorry. Just one little thought
experiment. Suppose that the international socialist movement had taken
Trotsky's analysis of fascism seriously and acted on it. What would have
been the outcome ? Would the number of Russian men killed in in the war
against fascism have been only 1 million ?
For the rest, I discuss Russian issues with my friend Chris who actually
lives in Moscow, and not with somebody in Argentina. And if Chris says that
somebody is talking crap about the Russians, I tend to believe him rather
than some biblical fundamentalist trying to spread the true teachings of
Saint Joseph.
I respect you and all, we usually agree about almost everything in
correspondence, but death is real and eternal life is a neoconservative
strategy for the propagation of more capitalism.
