Query re US socialists and Greens
I would argue that there is a big difference between "socialists" in
general and "socialist groups", the former being far bigger than the
latter.
So, what individual socialists did during the Nader campaign as a whole
or as individuals is impossible to tell. The two socialist groups that
I know endorsed Nader's campaign (and was not a "vote Green"
perspective generally) was Socialist Alternative (CWI) and the ISO.
That's it as far as I know.
The ISO, in my humble opinion, had a confused position on this because
they seemed to of entered the game late after opposing the campaign
but without a particular strategy in how to advance it. SA had a much
more worked out view, and I would recommend a few back issues of their
paper, Justice, for a rather well written analysis/polemic on both
groups views toward Nader and the Greens.
