UfPJ endorses Oct. 25?
I'm not sure where he gets his information, since I couldn't find any
evidence of this on either the ANSWER or the UfPJ web sites, but Greg
Yardley at Commiewatch (http://yardley.blogspot.com/) today reports this:
----
Leslie Cagan... recently announced that, contrary to popular expectation,
the United for Peace and Justice coalition will be co-sponsoring, with
International ANSWER, the Oct. 25th March on the Pentagon in Washington,
D.C. Now the fighting over speakers and the like will begin. I hadn't
expected United for Peace and Justice to agree to this, since they've begun
to focus on Democratic Party politics and ANSWER, a Workers World Party
front, won't tolerate this. Perhaps they've finally bowed to ANSWER's
pressure campaign - representatives of ANSWER have been writing to everyone
and their dog asking them to complain to UfPJ and urge them to support
ANSWER's protest.
----
There are various other scurrilous remarks which accompany this news which I
won't bother to reproduce here; if you really care you can go visit his site
and read them for yourself.
