No theories, other than the fact that Trotsky had to revise completely HIS
theories once he found himself in a real revolution: he even said (in The
Russian Revolution) that he thought that Marx must have been wrong (revolution
in Russia: wrong place and wrong time) - but then thoughts about dialectical
leaps saved his faith.

No theories - but maybe we are seeing something interesting happening all
around the globe.

For analysis you need facts - aren't there enough interesting acts around the
globe, from Venezuela and Colombia right through to Afghanistan and the
Phillipines to show you that the house is burning?

Now you can study fires in the practice - but only if you are manage to keep an
open mind as Trotsky did - remember he was willing to throw Marx out of the
window because it didn't seem to fit with the facts on the ground. Precisely
because of that, together with Lenin's pragmatism, Marxism could progress.

Wegwerfen - BUT - Aufheben. Contradictory, but that is what it seems to me to
be all about.

1848 - here we go again!
