I sure hope we have kept the material released by the media over the
past year because its analysis it would make an effective history
lesson. I don't think any other US war over the past century has been
as blatantly connected to resource exploitation --and for whom? for
what purposes? The particular resource implicated here is a grossly
polluting factor in global warming--but perhaps that's another event
that we shall have to leave to history to explain why it happened.
