I couldn?t agree with you more about that farcified Trotsky speech as
preposterous. Hollywood indeed. There was nothing really tangible in
the movie for me, but it was beautiful visually, for my tastes, and
perhaps it will inspire some to delve deeper into the ideas of the
romanticized protagonists?who were not portrayed as stock villains
as are most Reds in Hollywood productions?
(Call me a Pollyanna for looking for the good,
but you started your comments in the same vein.)
