The Serpent's Egg
Jurriaan:
this article has shades of misogyny. what do you get out of this
article?
the article offers no convincing evidence that "boys thrived where
there was a culture of achievement in a school, where home study was
limited and where strong discipline was promoted", and yet claims taht
the teaching is feminized. what gives?
"There are worries that what are seen by some as more 'feminised'
ways of working - including continuous assessment and long periods
of study leave at home - are leaving boys floundering."
huh??????????
Yoshie, any comment????
